Stuck in the metaphorical mud that is life.

It has been over two years since my last entry and as you can imagine, nothing extraordinary has happened in my life.  I'm still at the same job (coming up on four years in March) and it doesn't seem like I will be leaving any time soon.  Maybe it's because of "work responsibilities and family obligations" that I am where I am... Who am I kidding, I'm just too lazy.  I need to get my butt in gear because everyone around me is moving on to greener pastures and leaving me behind in the mud!

Oh, James.

So this guy named James from who-knows-where (his last name is Ng something or other) messages me saying he found out I had a blog and that I hardly update it. The nerve of him! Well, when I get my hands on him, he'll be sorry he dissed my blog!

What am I doing??

So I've been employed for the past 7 months, but I have no idea where this job is going to take me. All I know is I don't want to be there for the rest of my life doing what I'm currently doing. Don't get me wrong, I'm so grateful for this job because it was given to me. I just don't know what the future holds for me. I have many dreams, but like Bianca Knowles from Wonderfalls I just can't seem to get myself started. I just need to get some guts and pursue those dreams like nothing else matters. But then I would need to quit my stable, money-making job and therein lies the dilemma. I don't know what to do.

It's been a while...

Not that anybody reads this but I haven't written anything in a LONG, LONG time. So here is my first post for 2008.

God has really blessed me in the sense that He has answered my prayers for a job. I didn't need an interview or anything so I was basically given a position at the company. I still don't know what my future holds after this but I have faith that God will let me in on his plan for me. I just have to be patient and keep praying about it.

As for my acting class, we only have one more week of rehearsals until our big finale! I'm so nervous because we suck! LOL! I hope it goes well!

The worst last day of class EVER!

So leave my house at around 8:30 a.m. and get to Scarborough Town Centre in around 15 - 20 minutes. The first sucky thing that happened was when I turned into the gateway and I get stopped by the guard. He asks me where I was going and I told him the truth; I was going to school. He "HA!"s really loudly and says "Wrong answer." He was nice enough to enter anyway, telling me not to do this again. I thought "Thank God! Of all the days I get stopped, it's the last day of school! I won't have to park here again anyway!" So I took his warning in stride. So lah-dee-dah, I go to school, I do my presentation, I hand in my paper and then I come back to Scarborough Town Centre. And what do I find clasped between my wiper and the windshield? A ticket. A 30-FRAKKING-DOLLAR TICKET. The funny-annoying part is it was written at 8:58 a.m. Like...didn't I JUST get out of my car?! I'm thinking I'll just pay the dang thing but I don't really want to. I mean, the guard let me in and allowed me to park there... Well, at least I just got a government refund check in the mail today. That could go toward paying the ticket... :P So this was my worst last day of class EVER!
